Every October, alpha Kappa Delta Phi takes gigantic strides to bring the importance of breast cancer prevention, support, and research towards the forefront for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. With having raised over $100,000 collectively for the first time ever, we want to keep the momentum going! Become actively involved in the movement that's taking the world by storm through one of our many BCA initiatives listed below. Together we can help aKDPhi-nd a Cure to end breast cancer!

    Look! Everyone is turning pink! Personalize your own cover photo and profile picture or post a customized picture to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness. All templates can be downloaded and customized with an editing program of your choice (i.e. Pixlr.com, Google Drawings, Photoshop, Paint, etc.).

  • 100 Miles to End Breast Cancer

    Join us as we commit to walk, run, and bike 100 miles from October 1st - 31st to support those affected, as well as preventing this deadly disease from spreading to those who we care about most. For more details on how to register, please go directly to our 100 Miles Challenge page.

  • BCA Photo Challenge

    Join us as we kick off BCA month with our annual #aKDPhiBCA Photo Challenge. We encourage all sisters to participate in posting either a video or photo showcasing your support for Breast Cancer Awareness!

    Week 1 - October 3 - October

       Theme: Someone who has been affected by Breast Cancer

    Week 2 - October 10 - October 16
       Hashtag: #FactUp
       Theme: Promoting and sharing information about BCA

    Week 3 - October 17 - October 24

       Theme: Your journey to #100Miles to end Breast Cancer

     

    International Breast Cancer Awareness Day - October 25

       Theme: Wearing one thing pink in a black and white photo

    Week 4 - October 26 - October 31

       Theme: Recapping a BCA event you planned or attended

    Remember to add #aKDPhiBCA to all of your photos!

    To enter the challenge:

    1. Post your entry on any social media platform with your name, chapter & the associated hashtag listed for each theme above.*
    2. Get people to like your photo/video!

  • DONATE Through Avon

    Anyone wishing to support out breast cancer initiatives through a monetary donation, can visit our Avon Fundraising Page to do so.

    Also, if you would like to sponsor a sister in the 100 Miles Challenge, please follow the instructions below:

    1. Go to the Avon Fundraising Page
    2. On the right hand side, click "Donate Now" which will guide you to the Donate to a Participant page
    3. Complete all necessary fields
    4. Under the heading Personalize Your Gift where it allows you to provide a Personal Note, please write the aKDPhi sister's full name who you are donating on behalf of. If you do not name anyone, your donation will not count towards their fundraising efforts.
    5. Click Donate Now located towards the bottom of the page
